RICHMOND, Va. – Virginia Commonwealth University (1-11, 0-4) fell 10-0 to #3 Old Dominion University (12-1, 4-0) Friday night during a heavy downpour of rain at Cary Street Field.

Junior goalkeeper Brittany LoVullo (Williamsville, N.Y./Williamsville North) charted a season-high 12 saves in nearly 55 minutes of action.

VCU received shots from junior Jenna Harris (Aurora, Colo./Smoky Hill) and junior Amanda Kelly (Chesapeake, Va./ Great Bridge).

The Monarchs received three goals from Darcy Pinchbeck and two goals each from Dana Sensenig and Hanna Warren. Nicolien Nispen, Denise Admiraal and Katelyn Smither also netted goals for ODU.

The Rams return to action Sunday October 8 when they travel to Drexel for a 12 p.m. start.
