Coach Ball on Perrino:
“After coming to VCU as a walk on, Andrea has really made his mark.  He even became captain of the team last year, although at times he has been somewhat inconsistent.  He is really good when he is playing well, but he has had to work hard this summer on damage control during the bad rounds.  He is another possible continual starter for the team.  It will be interesting to see how his game has developed over the summer after playing several tournaments all across Europe.  The high level of competition he faced should go a long way in preparing him to play and contribute and be a very strong force for VCU this fall.”
