FAHRBRING EARNS ALL-CAA SECOND TEAM HONORS

RICHMOND, Va. – Virginia Commonwealth University junior golfer Jens Fahrbring (Sollentuna, Sweden/Rudbeckskolan) earned second-team All-Colonial Athletic Association honors, the league office announced Friday.

Fahrbring, who received first-team All-CAA and All-State honors in 2005, has the lowest individual finish for the Rams this season, placing third at the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C. The junior honoree currently holds a scoring average of 74.32.

This weekend Fabrbring made his third consecutive start in a CAA Championship when he and the rest of the Rams teed off at Pinehurst No. 6 in search of VCU’s eighth conference championship.
