on, scoring 50 points on 20-of-32 shooting from the field (62.5
percent). Jones scored 15 of his 23 points in the final 20
minutes, including seven in just under two minutes as the Rams

Rams' record to 7-4 on the season, while North Carolina A&T
dropped to 1-7. Virginia Commonwealth will open conference play
in its next contest, as the Rams play host to Old Dominion on
Jan. 5. That game is set for a 7:30 p.m. start.
