Enjoyed a spectacular sophomore season in which he became the first player in CAA history to lead the conference in both assists and three-point field goal percentage in the same season... Has a tremendous talent for finding the open man off a drive to the basket... Is the xth leading returning assist man from the 1998-99 season... Durable as well as reliable, has the stamina necessary to keep his intensity level high for the entire length of the game... One of the most accurate shooters in the country... 1997-98: Overcame knee injury to be named to the CAA all-rookie team... Appeared in 20 games after missing the first eight games due his injury... Averaged 8.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game... His points per game average was third-highest on the team... Recorded a season-high 22 points against William & Mary (Feb. 23)... Registered multiple steals in six of seven games from Jan. 22 to Feb. 7, including four vs. Richmond (Jan. 24)... Taylor's play stepped up a level as the conference season entered its home stretch, as he scored 94 points over the final eight games of the year, an average of 11.8 per game...
