FRIERSON NAMED CAA MEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

RICHMOND, Va. -- Virginia Commonwealth University junior sprinter James Frierson (Richmond, Va./Highland Springs) has been named Men’s Track Athlete of the Week in the Colonial Athletic Association.

Frierson recorded victories in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes and helped the Rams’ 4x100-meter relay team grab second place with a time of 42.66 this past weekend when VCU hosted the Ram Invitational.  The sprinter posted a time of 10.73 in the 100m and a time of 21.80 in the 200m.
