"NATIONAL YOUTH SPORTS PROGRAM"
The final version of the 2006 federal budget greatly reduced funding for NYSP, and the federal budget for 2007 did not include funding for NYSP. As a result, Virginia Commonwealth University will not host NYSP in Summer 2006. 

If you would like to see NYSP continue at VCU, here's what you can do to help:

1. Contact your Congressional and House representatives and ask them to sign the letter of support for NYSP. Tell your story of how NYSP has impacted your child and/or community.

2. Visit your Congressman's or Representative's district office here in Richmond. Let them know that the elimination of NYSP is a community concern.
