Your contributions to the VCU Pride Fund will provide valuable athletic scholarship aid to over 300 worthy student-athletes. With the average scholarship at approximately $14,000, your donation is now more important than ever. In return you have access to priority seating & parking for ALLTEL Pavilion at the Siegel Center events and hospitality access.

Most importantly the pride and satisfaction of supporting the program and providing our student-athletes the chance to be successful in all aspects of college life.

Success on the field:

Since joining the Colonial Athletic Association in 1995,

  • 19 VCU teams have participated in NCAA Competition, including Men's Tennis(6) Golf(4), Men's Soccer(3), Baseball(3), Women's Tennis(2), Men's Basketball
  • Men's Tennis team playing for the National Championship in 2000
  • 22 VCU student-athletes have earned All-American recognition
  • 18 CAA championships, 20 Conference Player of the Year Awards, 13 Coach of the Year awards.

Success in the classroom:

  • VCU student-athletes have earned Academic All-American recognition 14 times
  • With four award winners in 1998-99 and 1999-2000, VCU produced more Academic All-Americans than any other CAA or Virginia institution.
  • In 1999-00, a total of 48 student-athletes earned CAA scholar-athlete honors with GPA's of 3.2 or better, matching the total from 1998-99.
  • VCU student-athletes have won prestigious awards as NCAA Post-graduate Scholarship, USA Today Online Positive Performer of the Week, Sports Illustrated Faces in the Crowd, Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities, and the Arthur Ashe Jr. Leadership and Sportsmanship Award.
