2004/Freshman: Competed in first collegiate race at the Spider Alumni Open at the University of Richmond.  Ran personal best in 5,000m at the Mason Invitational with a time of 21:29.5.

Prior to VCU: Member of cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field teams all four years of high school…Was a two-year All-District and one-year All-Region selection…Earned team MVP and #1 Runner award at Caroline High…Holds Caroline’s 5K and 4x800m records…Track team was district champs in 2001 and 2002.
